Sprint 4G Lte

Will Sprint’s 4G LTE network be available in my city?

Sprint is the popular name of Sprint Nextel Corporation that provides data telecommunications and voice in both wired and wireless forms, in the U.S.A. With over 56 million users, Sprint has proven to be stiff competition to Verizon and AT&T. You can also enjoy Sprint’s services in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Sprint has now entered the 4G market in a big way by offering its service in not 1, not 2 but 5markets and 15 cities. It promises Long Term Evolution or LTE and is something of a pioneer in 4G. This is because even before its competitors had launched the service, Sprint had WiMax, a predecessor of the 4G. But there is concern over its reach and speed, seeing how there isn’t space or spectrum for Sprint unlike the case with the bigger players. The earlier versions of the 4G service offered by the company ran on the slow, dated WiMax and the other competitors have caught up, to Sprint’s loss. It might be safe to say that Sprint has not capitalized on its initial advantages.Sprint 4G LteLTE is considered to be almost 10 times faster than 3G and has astounding internet speeds of up to 300 mbps. Thus, there is a lot riding on the company’s ability to get this right. And it can do this, having done so in the past- the company gained serious ground with the introduction of the HTC EVO™ 4G, built by HTC and promoted as Sprint’s first Android phone and the first ever 4G phone in the market.

The EVO 4G looked stylish, took brilliant pictures and videos and came stacked with 16 GB of storage, Ice Cream Sandwich, Google Wallet and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. After its release in 2010, it gained such popularity that it beat the Motorola Razr V3, the Palm Pre and the Samsung Instinct. Post the EVO, came many other phones including the LG Viper™ 4G LTEwith its Gingerbreadtechnology and large touch screen and the Samsung Galaxy S™II, Epic™4G Touch, a gamer’s dream crammed with the best games and apps on the Android market, among other cool features.
You will be able to use Sprint’s 4G LTE in these cities in Georgia – Rome, Athens, Atlanta, Newnan, Calhoun and Carrolton. You can also find the services in these Texas locations- Waco, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Huntsville and Granbury. The other places where 4G LTE is offered are St. Joseph in Missouri and Kansas City. The company knows that it is about service and cost as much as it is about superior technology that gains respect and acceptance in the customer’s eyes. And it is working towards that. Apart from the technology and devices, Sprint will also push for data plans that are family and individual friendly.
The company offers the Sierra Wireless 4g LTE Tri-Fi Hotspot. Quite a mouthful, but the device promises connectivity of up to 8 systems, fast speed and media share options. There are smaller versions of the same as well that serve up to 5 computers.
Find out if Sprint is in your city and enjoy great service and services.
