Performance reports Graphs
This was one of the drawback of the previous user interface. There were no graphical representation of your adsense earnings. You can choose many options including date ranges and periodical reports. You can include many different parameters to the graphs to compare and analyze the adsense trending. These parameters includes estimated earnings, Ad unit impressions, coverage, number of clicks, CTR, CPC, RPM. Coverage is the ratio of requested ad units or queries to the number that is returned to the site and this report can help you identify sites where AdSense isn’t able to provide targeted ads and will display more public service ads.
Average cost per click per day (CPC) and Revenue per thousand impressions (RPM) are other important analytic measurement.
More reporting options
Google has added few more reporting options including detailed performance reports by ad type, ad size, ad unit, targeting type, and bid type for total earnings over a custom date range. You can easily get duration wise reports easily. These includes entire account by day, entire account by week and entire account by month.
Improved performance summary home page
The home page now displays all the important information or links to important pages. Earnings estimates of current day, Estimated unpaid earnings and the last payments are displayed in home page itself.
The performance summary in the home page is giving a quick view of your category wise earning reports. This also can be viewed for different durations. This was drop down box in the old interface. There are less number of menu links now. Apart from home page link we have My ads, Allow & block ads and Performance reports links. My Ads page gives you a brilliant interface to manage and create new ad units. Allow & block ads is the place where you can block and unblock advertising URLs and sensitive categories. Fourth tab is the performance tab we discussed initially.
You have export and save options of any type of reports. The new interface looks more efficient and more comprehensive which provides more reporting options and quick access to reports and other features.
