Google + without doubt is the fastest growing social network service. But you may be using other social media services like Twitter and Facebook. What will you do if you want to post the same information to all these services. Yes there are many plugins available to achieve this. We have discussed this in our earlier post Cross post Google Plus Posts to Twitter and Facebook. But how do you do this without using all these plugins and tools but just by using email addresses? You can create a Google Circle and add all these social media provided email addresses to that circle to update each one of them.

How to Update Facebook from Google Plus without using plugins
Facebook provides an email address using which you can update Facebook status. please follow the below steps
- Go here and get your Facebook Mobile email address.
- Create a new circle in Google plus and add the facebook email address to the new circle.
- Whenever you add a new post to Google Plus select the new circle to publish.
- That’s all required to publish Google Plus updates to Facebook
It seems that in the above method Facebook displays somewhat a trimmed version of your post (It displays limited number of characters(around 45) only. May be because we are using a Facebook application for mobiles). Not the complete post as it is. If you are able to resolve this please let me know by adding a comment below. Better option is the method mentioned in the post Cross post Google Plus Posts to Facebook and Twitter
How to Update Twitter from Google Plus
Whenever you update Google Plus you can use the same email trick what we used for Facebook to tweet the same update. Twitter doesn’t provide any email addresses as of now. Twitter allows to use SMS to tweet. So we need to depend on some third party applications to get an email address that will actually does the twitter update on behalf of you. Follow the below steps.
- Use Twitter Counter or TweetyMail to grab an email address that updates Twitter on behalf of you.
- Create a new circle (you can use the same circle created for facebook) in Google plus and add the new email address to the new circle.
- Whenever you add a new post to Google Plus select the new circle to publish.
- That’s all required to publish Google Plus updates to Twitter

Have you actually tested posting facebook status from google+ with mail?
I would assume google adds a lot of html to the mail… Does it really work?
@Jay
@Nina
FB displays the message but a trimmed version of the post. But please remember this is a Facebook Mobile product. It has its own limitations
What are these limitations?
If I post a simple text, does it add it to my facebook status without anythin added(htmlcode)?
Ideally it should. But what I noticed is that Facebook displays a trimmed version of the post. Around 45 characters. But If you send a mail from Gmail using the same email address , Facebook displays the complete message. Need to digg and find out whether this is a limitation at Google Plus or Facebook end
Google adds html to the mail so does it post correctly to FB?
Facebook only uses the Subject of the email as the status, so any html in the body should make no difference at all.
Seems Facebook has removed the email upload option. Can anyone confirm this?
Nope…. its just sorta hidden. You have to sign in to m.facebook.com, click on the menu to the upper left, select "Photos" and then "Upload Photos". The FB e-mail address is listed on that page.
