Junk e-mail exchange is growing day by day and junk e-mail folder are getting filled very easily. Even though the outlook junk mail filter is useful to filter and classify outlook junk mail received from various spam contacts, it will not safeguard you from receiving such spam mails.
Some of these malicious emails may contain virus programs or the links in those mails will lead you to malicious websites.
Most of the email programs or email clients has some sort of spam email filtering feature but none of them are 100% perfect.
Like earlier versions Outlook 2010 also has a better junk email filtering feature. Microsoft and its affiliates introduced an Add-in for Microsoft Office Outlook® that will definitely helps to improve effectiveness of their junk e-mail filtering technologies if used effectively. The Junk E-mail Reporting Tool lets you directly report junk e-mail to Microsoft and its affiliates for analysis.

Once installed, you can see the option to report junk emails to Microsoft using the add-in option. First select the e-mail in Outlook and then an email and click the Report Junk e-mail button on your tool bar . You will see a pop-up window asking whether you want to report the selected e-mail to Microsoft. When you click “Yes” to confirm that you’d like to report the selected e-mail as junk e-mail, the junk e-mail will be sent to Microsoft for analysis.
