Gmail now supports more than 60 email providers from where you can switch to or import your emails and contacts to your Gmail account. These includes popular international domains of different mail services including Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL , Live etc. Google has added fourteen more international domains to the list of supported email providers.

Moving mails from other mail services to your GMail account will give a single service to access all your mails. It is a good idea considering the quality of the services offered by Google. Another advantage is that you don’t have to keep email back of all these email accounts, but keep the backup of only Gmail account. Also Google has created a Google Switch Site for people who doesn’t use or not familiar with the process of importing the mails and contact from other providers.
