Now Google is offering OCR service through the Google Docs Service.Log in to your Google Docs and click upload.You will see the upload window like below.
Google has added the new Service here.Select the check box “Convert text from PDF or image files to Google Docs documents New!”
Now all the uploaded scanned images and PDF files will be handled differently. Google will convert text from PDF or scanned image files to Google Docs documents.
