Google has improved the Google Calendar.It has got a new look also.
Now Google removed the old Tasks link. Now to turn Tasks on and off, just click the Tasks calendar in your calendar list.Google calendar logo
To Hide/Show the task and show just the events click on the Task button on the left side bar.This is same for events also.

Notify me on my cell phone

You will get event notification on your mobile.
This feature “Notify me on my cell phone” is the same.Start by selecting your country, and then enter your phone number and carrier. Finally enter the verification code sent to your phone. Here one thing to note that is other charges may apply.

Automatically declining events

You can enable or disable this feature.This feature lets you block off times in your calendar when you are unavailable. Invitations sent for any events during this period will be automatically declined. After you enable this feature, you’ll find a “Busy (decline invitations)” option in the “Show me as” field.

Event attachments

Attach a Google document, spreadsheet or presentation to your event, or upload a file from your computer.

Smart Re-scheduler

This is another interesting feature of Google Calendar.Helps you re-schedule an event by analyzing everybody’s schedule, evaluating conflicts, obtaining conference rooms and proposing the best meeting times. It’s like magic.

Complete Year view

To see the complete year Google Calendar has a “year view” button.
